I did my part for the illusion that is Democracy

So I just got back from going to vote. My brother made a big deal out of it so we went to the school around the corner to vote. Unlike other states where you have to show forms of ID and such all you have to do here is basically have your voter registration card and the poll worker makes sure the signatures match on the roll.

I think the machine I used might have been tampered with. On the line for Comptroller the Republican lever was stuck. I go to switch the one for Democrat (and crook) Alan Hevisi and it was working fine. Not wanting to vote for him I ended up voting for John C. McCain on the Libertarian line.

I told the election worker after I was done and I saw her talking to the guy who I assume was the technician. If he wasn't it's no big loss, it's just the comptrollers seat. Hevisi is gonna get impeached anyway for embezzlements, misuse of funds, and being a crook anyway so like I said it doesn't matter.

I voted for Spitzer for Governor, someone I can't remember for Senate (I told you I wasn't voting for Satan...err Hillary), My congressmen Vito Fossella, and a couple of judges. I also voted for Marty Golden for Borough president but that one didn't matter since he was running unopposed.

Oh it should be a fun night for the rest of the country where they have elections that matter.

I just hope Kinky wins in Texas. If he does there's hope in America because the system actually works.

Oh yeah if you haven't read my latest column, go do so. I don't write for my own amusement you know.
