Well I think I've finally hit my wall

Yep its official. I think I've hit the wall because I am burned out. Writing the wrestling columns is becoming a chore with each passing week. Writing about political stuff is the same thing. I mean its the same stuff over and over and over and over. While I'm glad Charlie Sheen had the courage to go public with his views, its like a broken record trying to explain your position to someone who does not want to hear it.

Explosives...NOPE...BIN LADEN DID IT.

The Towers...NOPE IT WAS A FIRE.

No Plane was...ITS NATIONAL SECURITY. YOU CANT ASK THEM TO SHOW YOU THAT FOOTAGE.

And so on and so on.

This week the big hot button issue is this whole Illegal Immigration deal. Appearently if your for tight borders and no amnesty you are a racist. Now call me crazy here, but what part of ILLEGAL don't we understand here. Yes it should be a felony if your illegal in this country. Now I don't buy into that stuff that the Catholic church and others are putting out about this.

First off no one is going to go to jail for giving an illegal something to eat. But I find it hillarious that just because people have managed to stay here over a period of time they deserve a free pass. It's a load of crap and you know it. In the old days becoming an American was something to be proud of. Now its like just give me my welfare and medicade and leave me alone.

My mother sees it all the time with the Russians at Riteaid who whip out their Medicare cards and load up on free perscription drugs because Uncle Sam picks up the tab.

So someone please explain to me how we the people wanting to reign in all that are in the wrong. Oh and don't let these protests fool you. You can get high school kids to do anything if it means skipping school. I should know, I was once in high school myself (of course I never skipped school cause if my mother didnt beat the crap out of me my father would...it's called insentive).

All I know is I'm tired of the same old stuff. All I really want right now is maybe to go to some Island far away where the women wear next to nothing. Give me a Bacardi and Cola and I'm set.

I don't know if its the general paranoia I've had since 9/11 or if I really feel something, but I can just tell the next few months aren't going to be good. It would be nice if this feeling would go away but it won't.

Then again I think back to my graduation from college and I can pin point that as the exact moment my life went to hell. Should of went for a BA or something but NOOOOOO...I don't have the time for that.

The irony is now all I have is time and I hate time.

Ah well the next blog should be something more cheerful. All I know is years and years down the road if the Internet is still intact it should be fun to read my late night bitching and moaning.

Key word there is should.

My E-Mail to Tucker Carlson of MSNBC on Charlie Sheen

Hi Tucker this is Joe from Brooklyn, New York

I just wanted to say that Imus is right. You are a nitwit. I watched show last night and when your segment on Charlie Sheen came up you took 15 seconds from an interview that was over an hour long and branded Mr. Sheen as another wackjob celeb. To put him in the same boat as far lefties like his father, Susan Sarandon and others was just insane.

Tucker the facts are this about 9/11. The official government story is bull. Normal fires stop burning after a couple of days and I know for a fact the fires at ground zero burned well past Christmas. Charlie Sheen was simply expressing the opinion many American's have that what happened on 9/11 was not what it seems. Maybe if you do some research on the subject rather then branding everyone who thinks that something else was up is a nut then maybe just maybe we could finally have some closure on 9/11.

Tucker I suggest if you really want to tackle this issue and put it to rest one way or another is to charge at it head on. Maybe you can bring on a guest or two who can explain how WTC 1, 2, and 7 are the only steel buildings in history to collapse because of fire. After that maybe you can have someone explain how a 757 was able to fit through a hole in the pentagon 16 feet wide and why the Government feels five single frames of video is all we need to see when there had to be at least 30 or 40 cameras that caught that attack on video.

Other then that I love your show, but in the words of Curtis Sliwa you could not be more hopelessly wrong.

I had to send it because the attitude he and others have towards anyone who says the official story is bull is getting really annoying. I mean another EMT just died from Mesolthemioma that she got from working at Ground Zero. I know I'm worried about what was in the air down after I went back to school since my school was right in the path of the debris cloud.

For those of you who have not heard the Charlie Sheen interview by Alex Jones, you can listen to it by going to this link.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/march2006/200306charliesheen.htm

It's about an hour long but most of what Sheen says are the same thoughts many American's and people around the world have. The Twin Towers came down in what looked like a controlled demolition. At first I didn't want to believe it but the more and more I watched video of the attack it was clear that something more then the forces of gravity and weakened steel were at work when they collapsed.

I think the worst thing in this whole mess is that god awful Freedom Tower that is going to be built. It looks like a giant hyperdermic needle. I think before anything is done we need closure on 9/11 and since we won't be putting Bin Laden's head on a spike anytime soon, knowing what exactly caused the buildings to fall would be the next big thing.

For those of you not in New York you really dont have any idea how painful it is to look at where the Towers stood and there's nothing but open sky. I remember when I went back to school and I looked up at the sky since the towers were about 4 blocks away, I damn near started crying because the sky was so beautiful but at the same time you realize what had been taken away.

All I can say is God Bless Charlie Sheen for having the courage to talk about this subject. He's going to be branded a conspiracy nut but thats to be expected by people who just want to go on living with their head in the sand.

Wow that was three years well spent

So I figure I'll jump on the bandwagon and post my thoughts on the 3 year anniversery of the war on Iraq. Iraq is on the verge of a civil war if not in the mist of one right now. As much as President Bush wants to spin the positives, the negatives still out weigh them by a whole hell of a lot.

Now before this war started I was very much in the camp that Iraq needed to be punished. 14 broken resolutions were 13 to many. 9/11 was still ringing in our minds and they drilled into out heads that IRAQ WAS WORKING WITH AL QAEDA. SADDAM IS WORKING WITH THE ENEMY. In retrospect its a load of crap, but back then we all were waiting for the second wave. I remember I wrote a paper in my English class on the case for war against Iraq. I actually made a much more convincing argument then Powell did at the UN. I wrote about how there was plenty of evidence that Iraq had VX, Sarin, and other nasty weapons and the potential death toll if they were used would be around 4.2 million.

I didnt buy for a moment that Saddam could strike anyone in 45 minutes. I argued that he could sell the weapons to our enemies and from there I laid out a couple what if's. Israel gets attacked and promptly nukes Iraq in retaliation. I wish I still had the file cause I'd post it because it was some damn good work that I wrote. If the draft comes back like most feel it will within the next year or so, I'm gonna try and BS my way into a propoganda job or something.

But here we are three years later and Iraq fell rather quickly and since then it's been a disaster of epic proportions. What it comes down to is the Iraqi special forces disbanded and went into the civilan population and Bush and company were to gung ho to do some real work and root them out. According to main stream media, those guys are the ones doing all the attacks these days. They also say alot of the bombs have the finger prints of Iran all over them. I could argue about that, but why bother.

What ever the reason we went to Iraq this is for certain.

As of March 21, 2006

U.S. Deaths Confirmed By The DoD: 2314
Reported U.S. Deaths Pending DoD Confirmation: 4
Total 2318

17,004 have been wounded

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ops/iraq_casualties.htm

This is a list of the month by month reports.

The D.O.D I think said 20,000 civilans have been killed as a result of combat actions and terrorist attacks.

Most independent sources place the number at well over 100,000

Right now Iraq is spiraling into Civil War as between 50 and 60 people are killed every day. This stuff between the Sunnis and Shi'ites is like Catholics and Protestant's. It's that little difference in interpertation that is causing people to be slaughtered.

Maybe someday I'll post what I really think of the so called religon of peace, but for now I'm staying on this war.

So President Bush, Vice President Cheney, Rummy, and others in the adminstration say we need to relax. Things are tense. They are not in a civil war. Well I dont know about the rest of you, but if that many people being killed a day just for their religion by their neighbors who are another religion...if that isnt a civil war then what the hell is.

Of course The President says stay the course. Well the course is fucked in plain english Mr. President. You got us into a war with no exit plan and with war with Iran looming right now the 2300 + that have died will be a drop in the bucket as the number will go up ten fold.

I'm rambling right now so bare with me. All I know is this. This war has been a joke, it's almost a half a billion in the red, and the idiocy of the adminstration is so laughable that it's sad.

I'll admit I was for this war at first, but I can admit when I made a mistake. If the President wants to fix his sagging poll numbers, he along with all his cohorts should do the same.

Dubai Firm Backs Out of U.S. Ports Deal
Mar 09 10:16 PM US/Eastern

WASHINGTON

A Dubai-owned company abruptly abandoned its plan for managing operations at six U.S. ports Thursday, defusing an election-year showdown between President Bush and the Republican-controlled Congress over an issue that had become a political land mine for the GOP.

"DP World will transfer fully the U.S. operations ... to a United States entity," H. Edward Bilkey, the company's top executive, said in the surprise announcement that seemed to spread relief throughout the Capitol and the White House. It was unclear which American business might get the port operations.

Basically what it came down to was there was way to much bitching for them to take over the ports. They looked at the money involved and said it just wasnt worth it.

Well I guess I would say I'm sorry that we can't trust any of The Shieks over there, but I'm not. I don't trust them and I'm glad they caved on this. If anything this whole situation shows how clueless President Bush really is. I dont know if its just because he's back on the bottle or if he's really that stubborn or what. But Bush digging his heals in on this was the worst decision he's made since that Iraq war thing (and we all know how well thats worked out for us).

I'm almost certain that the Democrats will win back the house this year. I think regular folk are sick and tired of the croanism and politics as usual by Bush and his buddies. Alot of long term congressmen will suddenly find themselves out of office because alot of people will be running on a common sense platform this fall and they will win.

I still cant believe there was anyone who supported this deal to begin with. I don't want to throw around the word bribery, but what other explanation can there possibly be for anyone defending a forgien goverment taking over major port operations.

I hope the bill banning this passes because we really need to get the Chinese out of the ports on the west coast. As it is they control The Panama Canal and damn near every port in Mexico. We dont need the Chinese controlling anything else in this country. Don't let the modernization act fool you. If given the chance they would invade in an instant just because they cant sustain they're own economy and people.

Why Bush & Cheney's poll numbers are in the tank

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9672058/

Ok so the CBS numbers were off, but the fact remains most people do not like President Bush or Vice President Cheney. Now I voted for Bush and Cheney in 2004 not because I liked them or because I thought they were the best choice. I voted for them because they were the lesser of two evils. As bad as this country is now it would of been alot worse with Kerry and Edwards in office (nevermind Kerry's shrew of a wife Teresa being the first lady which would have been a nightmare in of it self). But having sad that, Bush and Cheney have failed America on everything they promised.

The War on terrorism has become a joke. The War in Iraq is a disaster of epic proportions and its going to get worse. War with Iran is on the horizon. The cost of living keeps going up. Things in this country just keep getting worse and worse. You want to know why the poll numbers are in the tank? It's because common folk like me see Bush and Cheney and their entire administration for that matter as these people who are so vastly out of touch with the common man it isnt even funny.

I doubt President Bush has ever had to live pay check to pay check. I doubt Vice President Cheney has ever had to decide which is more important. Paying the rent or eating dinner. I doubt any of them have really cared about how much a gallon of gas costs or how much the price of meat, milk, eggs, bread, corn, and other products cost. They dont know what its like to be us and the more out of touch they are the more and more those numbers are going to slip.

As for this port deal, I think it sums up the administration perfectly that no one stopped to think that maybe, just maybe the American people would have a small problem with a foriegn country running our ports. Bush's attitude is they're our friends...you can trust them.

Well Mr. President, I hate to break it to you but no we cant trust them. As much as they might be an ally right now, it's only because we have all of that money invested over there and believe me if you think investing over there is going to keep them on our side, I have a bridge here in Brooklyn I can sell to you.

But of course this is our own damn fault for giving up control of the ports to begin with in the 60's. Shipping wasnt that important so who cares who runs it. Well its 35-40 years later and now that alot of cities are redevloping water fronts they realized you know it might not be such a good idea to outsource the management of these ports.

I highly suggest to the adminstration that they all watch the movie The Sum of all Fears. Never mind the crap about neo-nazi's. The book was about arabs sneaking a nuke into this country and the first thing we all thought when we heard an arab country was buying our ports was "Oh my god it's really going to happen".

All it would take to cripple this country would be a well placed tactical nuclear weapon on a cargo ship going off in a major port and this country would be brought to it's knees as all trucking would stop.

So back to the question at hand. Why are the poll numbers in the tank? I just explained why. Stop treating us the little people like we're not that important. The GOP members going against you are smart enough to see the writing on the wall that blindly standing by your policies will get them voted out of office. Hell I can guarentee even with out this there were plenty of people sick of how the country was being run and they would be voting Democratic or thrid party in the next election. I believe alot of long sitting congressmen are going to get a rude wake up call after the election when they realize they've been voted out of office.

They'll ask why and we'll in turn say because you just sat back and didn't do anything.

I mean damn it I hate Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton and I agree with them on this issue. I can assure you I'm not the only one who is finding themselves agreeing with people they hate with a passion politically.

Thats the reason why the numbers are tanking and they will continue to tank as more scandals and bone headed decisions are sure to come.
