So yeah tonight after the state of the union speech thing was over I went to go watch The Sheild and during a commercial I came across A&E and they were replaying the movie they made about Flight 93. At first I honestly didn't want to watch the movie, but I started to and I must say it was a gripping movie to watch. The part where the terrorists took over the plane was very chilling. I still can't believe they did it with fucking box cutters. One of the dipshits was wearing what they said was a bomb but I'm thinking that part had to be more Hollywood then fact. How the hell do you get through security with a suicide belt?
Anyway by the end of the movie when the passengers stormed the cockpit and they were fighting to get in and as the plane was going down, I broke down and started crying. All the emotions I supressed since 9/11 just came rushing back and I had that same feeling of dread that I had that day. I cant even begin to imagine the Horror of the plane. Now granted theres plenty of evidence that suggests that plane was shot down, but whatever the case I thought the movie was excellent and it should at least win some awards next year.
But umm its 2006 and it's been roughly 1583 days since the attack. What the fuck have we honestly accomplished in this war on terrorism. Oh sure nothings happened here, but plenty has happened elsewhere. Why is it Usama Bin Laden and all of his ilk still breathing? Why is he allowed to talk shit every now and then? Why is it this country has the attitude of oh well it happened get over it.
But if that attitude isn't bad enough, the thing that pisses me off the most is the fact that alot more then what the official story of 9/11 is happened that day.
It's clear The World Trade Center was brought down by a controlled explosion and NOT the fires.
It's clear The Pentagon was NOT hit by a 757 Jet Airplane.
It's clear that 9/11 COULD have been prevented and it wasn't for what ever reason.
All I know is after watching this movie once again it shows that we owe it to every man, woman, and child killed on 9/11, their familes, and all the men and women who have died in the resulting war on terror in Afghanistan and Iraq.
I pray that one day we have that truth out in the open so we can all come to some peace.
